Arash Beheshtian, Ph.D.

Co-founder & CEO

Before Altum, Arash was a consultant, VP of Strategic Analytics, and Chief Analytical Officer in several public and private retail-focused companies. His expertise is in the high-impact applications of machine learning techniques, specifically when it comes to retail and supply chain analytics.

Arash has a Ph.D. in Infrastructure Planning from Cornell and has been a post-doctoral fellow at Cornell and MIT, where he focused on several real-world logistics and price optimization projects.

Shoab Khan

Co-founder & CTO

Shoab Khan is a technology executive with nearly 20 years of experience driving digital transformation across e-commerce, analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing. His expertise in analytics-driven technology continues to fuel his passion for building high-impact digital solutions.

Before founding Altum Black, Shoab and Arash worked together for 6 years, holding executive roles at nuLOOM and Nogin.

Michael Harokopakis

Lead Engineer

With over 20 years of experience in ecommerce web development, Michael specializes in both front-end and back-end development, creating dynamic and scalable websites that drive business growth. He has played a key role in architecting innovative tools that streamline operations, as well as enhancing and optimizing existing features to better serve business needs. Michael's work focuses on blending user-centric design with robust functionality to deliver seamless, high-performing ecommerce solutions.
